Dogs that assist people with disabilities (guide dogs for the sight or hearing-impaired, or assistance dogs) are allowed inside.

Photography is allowed in the exhibition rooms. Please note that some exhibits may not be photographed.
If you inadvertently photograph other people, you may be violating their privacy.
Taking photographs and how the photographs are used are the responsibility of the photographer.
Kunjyukan accepts no liability whatsoever for any photographs taken.
Please refrain from using your mobile phone inside the facility.
We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who appears intoxicated or if we believe they may cause a disturbance to other people.
Please comply with the instructions of our staff. We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

Groups with special needs arriving by bus are asked to consult with us in advance so we can offer appropriate guidance

As a rental base of the "Kyoto Safe and Easy Wheelchair Rental system", wheelchairs are available for rent.
There are no charges (rental is free of charge)
Wheelchairs can only be rented on the same day. The hours of use are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the same day. Please be sure to return the wheelchair by 5:00 p.m. on the day of rental.
